A new four-storey block with a single storey link to an existing building.

This building is of traditional construction comprising a steel frame, pre-cast concrete floors, masonry external walls with rendered feature panels, power coated aluminium windows and a plastic coated curved steel roof. Internal walls forming classbases are constructed in metal stud partitioning to facilitate future re-organisation.

The building also features a full height glazed atrium with an exhibition space adjacent on the upper floors.

Environmentally friendly features include a natural ventilation system with roof mounted extract terminals, solid concrete upper floors which act as a heat sink to absorb and re-radiate heat, helping to reduce heat loss/input and a rainwater harvesting installation.
